Al Lavan

Alton Lavan (born September 13, 1946) is a former college football head coach for the Delaware State Hornets. He also served as the interim head coach for the Eastern Michigan Eagles in 2003, replacing Jeff Woodruff. As a longtime assistant running backs coach, he coached the following players throughout his various tenures: Tony Dorsett, Herschel Walker, Bam Morris, Earnest Byner, Leroy Hoard, Priest Holmes, Errict Rhett, Roosevelt Potts, Donnell Bennett, Tony Richardson, and Kimble Anders.
